PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce unevenness in torque caused by distortion of a magnetic field.
SOLUTION: A motor drive controller includes a control system which detects a phase current of a multi-phase motor such as a three-phase motor, converts it into two-phase rotational coordinates such as d-axis and a q-axis, and controls a current after conversion to a desired value. A current average value of a DC portion is detected for every control cycle, only a torque ripple frequency component is extracted therefrom, and the extracted torque ripple component is inverted to be added to the desired value of the current after coordinate conversion. As a result, without using harmonic distortion information on the magnetic flux intrinsic to the motor, the torque ripple in generation is detected to reduce the ripple by adjusting an applied current.
COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
