PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mobile communication system, a base station apparatus and a beat suppression method, for reducing beats in multiple signals received by the base station apparatus in the mobile communication system including mobile station apparatuses and the base station apparatus for receiving the multiple signals in which radio signals transmitted from each of the two mobile station apparatuses are overlapped. SOLUTION: The mobile communication system includes the two mobile station apparatuses and the base station apparatus 101 for receiving the multiple signals in which the radio signals transmitted from each of the two mobile station apparatuses are overlapped. The base station apparatus 101 includes a beat determination part 115 for determining whether or not the beat is generated in the multiple signals, and a transmission power change instruction part 113 for instructing the change of the transmission power of the radio signals to at least one of the two mobile station apparatuses so as to increase the difference of the reception power of the radio signals when the beat determination part 115 determines that the beat is generated.
