<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a prize management device reducing the equipment investment of a game parlor. Ž<P>SOLUTION: This prize management device 70 obtains the amount and the dispense rate of Pachinko balls from a counting receipt, and determines whether the counting receipt from which the information is acquired is subjected to information acquisition for the first time after the end of the preceding exchange control or not, or whether or not the counting receipt is the first counting receipt not subjected to exchange control before or not. When the first counting receipt is decided, a dispense rate obtained from the first counting receipt is decided to be an exchange dispense rate which is an object of this time exchange control. When the receipt is decided to be not the first counting receipt, it is determined whether the dispense rate of the N-th (N≥2) counting receipt, not the first, is the same as the exchange dispense rate or not. When the same dispense rate as the exchange dispense rate is decided, the amount of Pachinko balls of the N-th (N≥2) counting receipt is accumulated and added to the amount of Pachinko balls of the first counting receipt to update the total ball number.
