PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a liquid treating apparatus which provides improved work efficiency with simple constitution and effectively utilizes treated liquid. SOLUTION: The liquid treating apparatus 10 includes a vessel 14, a pump 16, a suction pipe 18 connected with the vessel 14, a connection pipe 20 connecting the vessel 14 with the pump 16 and a washing pipe 22 connected with the pump 16. A filter 50 for removing matter to be removed R from waste liquid L is installed in the vessel 14. The treated liquid L1 in the vessel 14 is sucked into the pump 16 as the pump 16 is driven and pressure in the vessel 14 becomes negative. Thereby the waste liquid L in a storage tank T is sucked into the vessel 14 via a suction regulator 18a, the suction pipe 18 and an introductory pipe 66. In the meantime, the treated liquid L1 which is vigorously discharged from the washing pipe 22 as the pump 16 is driven can be utilized for washing the storage tank T or the like.
