<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a layer forming device with which a reflection layer is inexpensively and properly formed. Ž<P>SOLUTION: The spray coater is: a device to form the reflection layer 16 on a slope 14 of a screen raw material 11 having an image-projected surface 12 in which the slopes 14 and orthogonal faces 15, which are mutually intersecting, are alternately formed along a prescribed direction; and includes a holding device to hold the screen raw material 11 in a state in which the image-projected surface 12 is along a nearly vertical direction, and a nozzle inclining device 44 to support a nozzle body 41 so as to make a spray direction be in a direction tilted relative to the slope 14. As a result, in spraying, a spray material is sprayed in a direction tilted relative to the image-projected surface 12, and consequently the reflection layer 16 is properly formed on the slope 14.
