The door has a storage compartment (10) inserted into an interior lining (1). The storage compartment is accessible from interior of a vehicle and provided with a movably held cover (4). A slot-like guiding channel (12) is provided for guiding the cover in the interior lining, where the cover is made of flexible material. The slot-like guiding channel is formed in the interior lining. The cover is vertically movably held in an opening area of the storage compartment. The cover is guided by a guide (11) and the slot-like guiding channel.
