PURPOSE: A method for preparing a large rubber polymer latex is provided to improve impact strength and the rapid elongation of ABS resin in a polymerization conversion rate. CONSTITUTION: A method for preparing a large rubber polymer latex with excellent polymerization productivity comprises the steps of: (a) performing emulsion polymerization on a reaction mixture including 60-75 parts by weight of a conjugated diene compound monomer, 1-3 parts by weight of emulsifier, 0.2-2 parts by weight of a first electrolyte, and 0.1-3.0 parts by weight of organic solvent; (b) injecting 10-20 parts by weight of conjugated diene compound monomer, 0.1-3 parts by weight of organic solvent, 0.2-1.0 parts by weight of emulsifier, and optionally 0.5-1.5 parts by weight of a second electrolyte increasing the particles of the formed polymer into the reaction mixture at a polymerization conversion rate of 30-40%, and then reacting the mixture at a second reaction temperature; (c) injecting the remaining amount of the conjugated diene compound monomer, optionally adding 0-3 parts by weight of organic solvent and 0-1 parts by weight of emulsifier at a polymerization conversion rate of 60-70%; and (d) obtaining a large rubber polymer latex with an average particle size of 2,600-5,000 angstrom by completing the polymerization reaction at a polymerization conversion rate of 95% or more.
