<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a liquid ejection apparatus capable of precisely controlling a flow rate of liquid in a flow path. <P>SOLUTION: The liquid ejection apparatus is equipped with: an ejection head that is provided with a feed port to feed liquid and a discharge port to discharge liquid, and ejects the fed liquid; a feed flow path that feeds liquid to the feed port; a discharge flow path that discharges the liquid from the discharge port, and also equipped with: a main pump that pumps a constant flow rate of the liquid in the flow path; a sub pump that is provided in parallel to the main pump and that pumps the liquid in the flow path; and a detector means that detects the pressure of the liquid in the flow path at least in one of the feed flow path and the discharge flow path, and further equipped with: a control means that controls the flow rate of the liquid pumped by the sub pump so that the pressure of the liquid in the flow path detected by the detection means reaches predetermined pressure. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT</p> |
