PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enhance the reliability of images in an electronic imaging apparatus capable of detecting the alteration of photographed images.

SOLUTION: The imaging apparatus includes an encryption processing part 162 for encrypting information relating to acquired image information and generating an electronic signature, and a condition determination part 165 for determining the using propriety of a key used for generating the electronic signature by the encryption processing part. The encryption processing part 162 generates the electronic signature according to a determined result by the condition determination part 165.
