<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem that it is necessary to periodically perform polling of notification data in order to making a PC for monitoring obtain notification data from a computer for control in a conventional gateway device sharing information configured by arranging a PC for monitoring in one network and a computer for control in the other network. Ž<P>SOLUTION: Communication equipment 1 is configured of: communication IF 10 and 11; path control parts 20 and 21; a data access part 30; and a storage part 40. The data access part 30 includes: an update detection means 31; a detection rule 32; an update notification means 33; and a notification destination database 34. The update detection means 31 inspects whether or not an operation to be updated to the storage part 40 is pertinent to conditions owned by the detection rule 32. When the operation to the storage part 40 is pertinent to the detection rule, the update detection means 31 notifies an update notification means 33 of the result of detection, and the update notification part 33 retrieves the pertinent notification destination from the notification destination DB 34, and creates and issues the data for notification.
