<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a refrigerant compressor high in reliability, without gall or seizure even in a non-lubrication condition in starting a device with a large load. Ž<P>SOLUTION: In the refrigerant compressor, a compressor compressing refrigerant, a rotational shaft driving the compressor, a bearing journaling the rotational shaft, and an electric motor rotating the rotational shaft are disposed in a hermetic vessel. Dimples are formed to at least part of the rotational shaft. Even when the lubricity of refrigerant not containing chlorine is low, the highly reliable refrigerant compressor is provided.
