PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vehicle drive motor capable of efficiently cooling a motor without getting it bigger. SOLUTION: The vehicle drive motor includes a stator 2 having an annular stator core 4 formed on the inner periphery of a tubular motor case 1, and a stator coil 5 formed in the stator core 4; and a rotor 3 positioned in the inner peripheral side of the stator core 4 as rotatable to the stator 2. An oil-supplying channel 8 and an oil-draining channel 9 are provided in the motor case 1 as open respectively at the position remote from each other in the axial direction at the inner-diametrical side of the motor case 1. More than one stator-core groove 11 communicating with the oil-supplying channel 8 and the oil-draining channel 9 are formed as extending in the radial direction at the outer-diametrical side of the stator core 4. Thus, lubricant oil is supplied from the oil-supplying channel 8 to the oil-draining channel 9 through the stator-core grooves 11. COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
