The device has an adjusting part i.e. cam, and a gear that is coupled with a pinion axis of a window lifting mechanism. The adjusting part and the gear are functionally attached to each other such that the movement of the adjusting part acts on the gear so that the gear causes or releases contact of a drive crank (1) with the window lifting mechanism in a desired manner. Crank shafts are attached to each other via a guide bolt. A fixing pin (5) is actuated with an ignition key of a motor vehicle.
