<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a glass run excellent in appearance, in a corner part of which a cover lip outside a vehicle can adhere to a door outer panel. <P>SOLUTION: A body of the glass run includes a substantially U-shape constituted of a sidewall 20 outside a vehicle, sidewall 30 inside a vehicle and a bottom wall 40, and a cover lip 23 outside the vehicle and a cover lip 33 inside the vehicle, each extending toward outside the body, are provided at front ends of the sidewall outside the vehicle and of the sidewall inside the vehicle. In the glass run corner part 12, a rib 26 outside the vehicle is formed between the sidewall 20 outside the vehicle and the cover lip 23 outside the vehicle, the rib 26 outside a vehicle, formed of thermoplastic elastomer and connecting both; the rib 26 outside the vehicle is formed thinner at a side connecting to the cover lip 23 outside the vehicle than at a side for connecting to the sidewall 20 outside the vehicle; a notched recess outside of the vehicle is formed in the corner part of a door frame; and the rib 26 outside the vehicle is suitable for the notched recess outside the vehicle. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
