PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of manufacturing a hollow extrusion material which is cooled from the inside while extruding the extrusion material. SOLUTION: Using an extruding die (20) which is provided with a passage (26) for the cooling medium where a sucking port (28) is opened on the end face on the downstream side of a mandrel (22) forming the hollow part (2) of the extrusion material (1), by sucking a cooling medium (C) in the hollow part (2) of the extruded extrusion material (1) while extruding metal, from the sucking port (28) of the mandrel(22), the cooling medium (C) on the outside is pulled into the hollow part (2) from the opening part of the extrusion material (1) and circulated in the hollow part (2).
