<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electromagnetic-wave shielding member which is not disconnected, has a high aspect ratio, exhibits excellent conductivity and electromagnetic-wave shielding properties, and has substantially no contrast unevenness on the display screen. Ž<P>SOLUTION: In the electromagnetic-wave shielding member, a mesh pattern layer 3 consisting of a conductive composition is laminated on a primer layer 2 which is formed on a transparent base 1 wherein the thickness TA of the primer layer 2 in a portion for forming the mesh pattern layer 3 is thicker than the thickness TB of the primer layer 2 in a portion not forming the mesh pattern layer 3, the interface of the primer layer 2 in a portion for forming the mesh pattern layer 3 and the mesh pattern layer 3 has any one or more forms of a cross-sectional form where the primer layer 2 and the mesh pattern layer 3 are interlacing nonlinearly, a cross-sectional form where the components of the primer layer 2 and mesh pattern layer 3 are mixed, and a cross-sectional form where the component contained in the primer layer 2 exists in a conductive component constituting the mesh pattern layer 3, and a variation in the opening area of mesh is 0.038 or less.
