<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device for packaging a product which has a simple structure, is easily assembled, and can reliably elastically package a comparatively-heavy product. Ž<P>SOLUTION: The packaging device has a retention body 2 having a housing opening at one side, an elastic sheet 7 disposed so as to cover the housing opening 6 and elastically supporting the product on the upper surface thereof, a retention body 13 which is positioned at the product-side of the elastic sheet and prevents the inserted product from moving in a direction orthogonal to the housing opening, and an outer box 3 which houses the retention body elastically supporting the product and the retention body.
