MULTILAYER POLYESTER FILM

A multilayer polyester film which can be preferably used for applications wherein good adhesion to a prism layer or a light diffusion layer is required, such as a backlight unit for liquid crystal displays. The multilayer polyester film has, on one side of a polyester film, a coating layer containing a urethane resin having a polycarbonate structure, while having a coating layer containing an acrylic resin or a urethane resin on the other side of the polyester film.
