PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To monitor the voltages of capacitors and to determine whether they are normal or abnormal regarding a capacitor device equipped with a plurality of capacitors. SOLUTION: The capacitor device includes: a plurality of first voltage monitoring means (voltage monitoring circuits 101, 102, 103, ..., 10n) which monitor, for every capacitor of a capacitor circuit (4) including a plurality of capacitors (DLCAPs 41, 42, 43, ..., 4n), whether the voltage of each capacitor has reached a first reference voltage (Vref-1); a plurality of second voltage monitoring means (voltage monitoring circuits 121, 122, 123, ..., 12n) which are installed in each capacitor to monitor whether the voltage of each capacitor has reached a second reference voltage (Vref-2); a first output circuit (14) which generates an output (signal S1) expressing that the voltages of all the capacitors have reached the first reference voltage; and a second output circuit (16) which generates the output (signal S2) expressing that the voltages of some or all of the capacitors have reached the second reference voltage.
