The fastener gun, to mount plastics components to metal carriers, has a feed mechanism (62) to advance the strip of components so that each is brought into the firing position (18) in succession. The components have linking webs between them to form the strip. The feed mechanism has a fluid drive (64), coupled to a carrier wheel (84) through a translation rotary converter (68,70,72,80). The converter system has a freewheel (72) with its drive wheel (74) connected to the fluid drive, and the drive take-off wheel (76) is keyed to the strip carrier wheel. |
