<p>The method involves forming a difference between data fields (3-6, 103-106) e.g. manufacturer data, of data sets (2, 102) of database systems, and assigning of uniqueness parameters to the difference between the data fields of the data sets of the database systems. The uniqueness parameters or derived values are compared with a preset threshold value. One data set is assigned to another data set when the uniqueness parameters or the derived values lie above the threshold value. A center value of the uniqueness parameters is formed. The center value is compared with the threshold value. Independent claims are also included for the following: (1) a computer program comprising a program code for executing a method for correlating data sets (2) a machine readable data medium comprising a computer program (3) a computer system comprising a computer program.</p> |
