<p>The device has a treatment chamber (1) to accommodate a tray e.g. casks, Biogrip(RTM: medical rehabilitation product) containing wastes, where the chamber is provided with a sealed door (2). A heating unit (3) heats the waste using an electromagnetic radiation, and a water supply unit (4) supplies water to the chamber. Injection unit injects water on the wastes, and a compression unit compresses the wastes. The compression unit has a movable plate (5) in which the injection unit is arranged. The injection unit has nozzles (7) emerging on a lower surface of the plate. An independent claim is also included for a method for pre-treatment of infectious wastes through disinfection.</p> |
