METHOD OF TRANSMITTING A SYNCHRONIZATION SIGNAL IN A CELLULAR MOBILE COMMUNICATION SYSTEM

PURPOSE: A method of transmitting a synchronization signal in a cellular mobile communication system is provided to obtain a synchronized signal efficiently in a terminal by clearly classifying plural synchronized signals in the same system or in heterogeneous systems. CONSTITUTION: A whole sub carrier is divided into sub carrier groups(S100). The whole sub carrier of the frequency bandwidth is given for the transmission of the synchronized signal. The mapping of the synchronized signal is performed for a certain sub carrier group(S110). In the case of an OFDM(Orthogonal Frequency Division Multiplexing) system, FFT(Fast Fourier Transform) and IFFT(Inverse Fast Fourier Transform) is formed for the mapping synchronized signal. The mapping synchronized signal is converted into an OFDM symbol, and then is transmitted(S120).
