PURPOSE: Soap made of seaweeds is provided to ensure the preparation by mixing fat and oil and fucoidan extract, to reduce the used amount of fat and oil, and to ensure foamable components. CONSTITUTION: A method for preparing soap made of seaweeds comprises the steps of: adding 22~15 weight% NaOH to 78~85 weight% viscous extract containing fucoidan collected from fucoxanthin while heating the mixture for 50~70 °C to completely dissolve NaOH; adding 56~52 weight% fat and oil to 44~48 weight% mixture of fucoxanthin extract and NaOH and stirring the mixture until a line is shown on the surface thereof; putting the mixture of fucoxanthin extract and NaOH in a mold and then solidifying the mixture at a room temperature for 40~80 hours; demolding the soap from the mold, and then naturally drying the soap for 25~35 days. |
