<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a developer supply device that is satisfactory in the efficiency of supplying developer to a supply target. <P>SOLUTION: The developer supply device includes: a conveyance electrode substrate having a plurality of conveyance electrodes arranged in a developer conveyance path that includes a supply position for supplying developer to a supply target; and a counter electrode substrate disposed on the supply target side rather than on the conveyance electrode substrate side so as to be opposed to the conveyance electrode substrate with the developer conveyance path between them. As viewed along a developer conveyance direction, in a part of the developer conveyance path adjacent to the supply position and on this side of the supply position in the conveyance direction, the phase of a conveyance voltage that is a multi-face alternating voltage applied to the conveyance electrode substrate progresses in the range of less than a half wavelength, in comparison to the phase of a counter voltage that is a multi-phase alternating voltage applied to the counter electrode substrate that includes the same wavelength as a conveyance voltage. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
