PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To extract at least contour image data from main image data after a print instruction is given and to select recording paper for each of them to be printed thereon.

SOLUTION: A printer driver is provided with a mode in which contour is extracted on the basis of input image data to edit an edit item including at least one of a line type, color, or magnification with respect to the extracted contour image data, and a sub GUI of an editing mode set to a main GUI. The printer driver selects a paper feed tray for each of image data and the contour image data.
