PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a washstand unit 1 capable of being hygienically and comfortably used by preventing the occurrence of soiling and the production of an abnormal odor in the washstand unit 1 and facilitating washing. SOLUTION: This washstand unit includes: a bowl 10; a faucet 7 which is equipped with an on-off valve for supplying water in an opened state and for stopping the supply of the water in a closed state; a water level detecting means 11 for detecting a water level in the bowl 10; and a control means for opening/closing the on-off valve. When the water level detecting means 11 detects that the water in the bowl 10 reaches a predetermined water level 12, the control means stops the supply of the water by closing the on-off valve.
