ATTACHMENT STRUCTURE OF VEHICULAR INTERIOR COMPONENT

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an attachment structure of a vehicular interior component capable of improving the attachment work efficiency of a console member to a shift panel, and keeping a clearance in the attachment condition of them within a fixed range to secure the quality such as appearance design. SOLUTION: The attachment structure of the vehicular interior component includes the console member 3 and the shift panel composed of an upper panel and a lower panel 6. An insertion part 61 inserted into a recess 31 provided on the rear end of the console member 3 is provided on the rear end of the lower panel 6. The right and left outer surfaces 610 of the insertion part 61 on the lower panel 6 and the right and left inner surfaces 310 of the recess 31 on the console member 3 opposing to each other are configured to be engageable by inserting an engagement projecting part 32 into an engagement recessed part 62. The engagement recessed part 62 is provided to regulate the movement in the longitudinal direction of the engagement projecting part 32 and to allow its positional dispersion in the vertical direction.
