<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an apparatus for forming metal fine particles which can more easily adopt even a combination having been difficult to adopt as a metal material becoming the origin for the formation of fine particles by a conventional method, and to provide a hair caring apparatus equipped with the apparatus for forming metal fine particles. Ž<P>SOLUTION: A discharge electrode 2 is formed into a mesh form including a plurality of wire materials (bar-like members 2a and annular members 2b). Therefore, the discharge electrode 2 can be constituted of the plurality of wire materials having different qualities of the materials.
