<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a compact exhaust manifold improving productivity by securing sufficient cooling performance of exhaust gas. Ž<P>SOLUTION: In the exhaust manifolds 20, 21 having a collecting passage 26 and a cooling water passage 28 extended from an upstream side in an exhaust gas discharge direction toward a downstream side, section area α of the collecting passage 26 is gradually increased from the upstream side in the exhaust gas discharge direction toward the downstream side, and section area β of the cooling water passage 28 is gradually decreased from the upstream side in the exhaust gas discharge direction toward the downstream side.
