<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an antiskid device keeping the traveling characteristics of a vehicle as high as possible and enhancing the durability. <P>SOLUTION: This antiskid device includes an antiskid member including an annular band 11 covering the tread T1 of a vehicular tire T, and an elastic ring 14 for fastening the antiskid member in a direction to constrict the antiskid member radially. This antiskid member is constituted of fabric, which has warps 11a and wefts 11b woven to interlace at a right angle with each other. The direction along either of the warps or the wefts that constitute the fabric intersects the circumferential direction of the tire T. Preferably, the intersection angle is 30-45°.
