<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a reaction processor for automatically and accurately processing a reaction by using a reaction vessel plate. Ž<P>SOLUTION: An upper unit held on a body unit 100 in a horizontally slidable manner is openable and closable. When the upper unit is fully closed, the upper unit descends in an arc in the rotating direction while a plate top block 120 vertically descends over the reaction vessel plate 1 with the descent of the upper unit. The top block 120 therebelow holds a temperature adjuster 4b while the descent of the top block 120 causes the temperature adjuster 4b to make contact with a reaction vessel disposition area of the vessel plate 1. A positioning pin 121a is provided on a lower surface of the temperature adjuster 4b while an upper surface corresponding thereto of a reaction vessel holder 130 is provided with a hole 121b. When the temperature adjuster 4b descends, the positioning pin 121a fits in the hole 121b, causing the temperature adjuster 4b to be positioned in the disposition area of the vessel plate 1.
