摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent air conditioning deficiency from occurring by waste heat or the like of electronic equipment disposed within an instrument panel. Ž<P>SOLUTION: In an air conditioner 10, an air conditioning unit 20 for generating an air conditioning wind is disposed in the space between a dash panel 60 and the instrument panel 62. Further in the instrument panel, chambers 78 and 80 are formed at positions opposed to an occupant within a vehicle interior. The surfaces of these chambers on the side thereof on which the dash panel is disposed are covered with a heat insulating material 88, and the air conditioning wind is supplied thereto from the air conditioning unit through a duct 40 or duct 42. The air conditioning wind passing through these chambers is blown off from a register blow-off port to the vehicle interior. For example, during a cooling operation. the surface of the instrument panel at the position opposed to the occupant is cooled by the air conditioning wind passing through these chambers, and the radiant heat generated from the occupant is absorbed.
