IMAGING UNIT AND IMAGING DEVICE

Provided is a technique capable of enhancing both the functions and the accuracy of a compact optical system.  An imaging unit is provided with a stacked structure that is formed by stacking multiple layers including an imaging element layer comprising an imaging element portion, a lens layer the distance of which from the imaging element layer is changeable, and an actuator layer comprising a movable portion for moving the lens layer, and a signal transmission portion that is disposed so as to connect the actuator layer and the imaging element layer and transmits a drive signal for driving the movable portion from the imaging element layer side to the actuator layer.  The actuator layer is interposed between the imaging element layer and the lens layer.
