The invention relates to a domestic appliance device comprising at least one operating means support unit (10; 10a to 10d; 10f) made up of a panel unit (12; 12a to 12d; 12f) and differing in particular from a hob (14; 14a to 14d; 14f). In order to achieve a comfortable usability, it is proposed that the operating means support unit (10; 10a to 10d; 10f) comprises at least one function contact surface (16; 16f) provided to absorb at least a part of a weight force of an operating means (18; 18a to 18d; 18f) in a functionally coupled state.
