A mount is attached to the top of a car. The mount possesses a pair of receiving parts that are disposed with a space between them in the horizontal direction. In addition, a cable braking device is held by the mount. The cable braking device possesses a hanger member, which includes a pair of opposing parts that are each inserted below the respective receiving parts, and which can be displaced in the vertical direction relative to the mount, a pair of energizing bodies, which are each disposed between the respective opposing parts and receiving parts, and which energize the opposing parts and receiving parts in the direction opposite to the displacement direction of the opposing parts and receiving parts in which they approach each other, and shackles, which are disposed between the various receiving parts and are connected to the hanger members. The car is suspended by a suspension means that is connected to the shackles. |
