<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a user interface operating method in which a function is enabled by a second touch when it is detected that a first touch is laid on a touch sensitive area. <P>SOLUTION: The user interface operating method is provided. The method is suitable for an electronic device having a touch screen. First, a touch sensitive area is activated by detecting the first touch. Then, the second touch on the touch screen is detected when it is detected that the first touch is laid on the touch sensitive area. Finally, an operation element of the user interface is enabled according to the second touch.
