<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming apparatus capable of moving a developing device and a cleaning member separately to each desired place, wherein a container for accommodating a developing agent removed by the cleaning member from a conveyance member is supported, and to provide the developing device provided to the image forming apparatus. <P>SOLUTION: A development cartridge 41 can move to a contacting position where a developing roller 13 contacts a photosensitive drum 11 and to a separating position where the developing roller 13 is separated from the photosensitive drum 11. A cleaning roller 71 can move to a contacting position where it contacts a conveyance belt 18 and to a separating position where it is separated from the conveyance belt 18. A waste toner box 72 is slidably supported by the development cartridge 41 and can move integrally with the cleaning roller 71, thereby the cleaning roller 71 can move relatively to the development cartridge 41. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
