<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a seat belt device for a vehicle capable of attaining reduction of sense of incongruity given to an occupant by suppressing the operation of an emergency lock mechanism as much as possible. <P>SOLUTION: The seat belt device for the vehicle includes an acceleration sensor 16 for detecting acceleration applied to the vehicle, and a rotation sensor 15 for detecting rotation of a belt reel 12. A controller 18 is provided with: a restriction control means 23 for controlling an energization amount relative to a motor 10 so as to generate an occupant restriction torque; and a rolling-up increase means 30 for returning drawing out of a webbing 5 by the belt reel 12 by increasing the energization amount of the motor, when the acceleration sensor 16 detects acceleration of a set value or higher during motor control by the restriction control means 23 and the rotation sensor 15 detects rotation in a webbing drawing direction of the belt reel 12 under the condition. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT</p> |
