PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To print while satisfying both texture obtained by specific glossy ink and color reproducibility obtained by color ink. SOLUTION: A CPU 40 for a printer 20 specifies, as main ink, one color ink that is large in amount used for printing a target image. When a dot for metallic ink is turned on, the CPU 40 continuously uses the same dither mask so as to prevent the dot for the main ink from being turned on, that is, so as to prevent overlapping of the dot for the metallic ink and the dot for the main ink.
