PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for facilitating a calibration work of an automatic pipette collection device in a clinical examination analyzer system. SOLUTION: In this method for determining a liquid volume from gravimetric measurement result of the liquid, a load cell, various sensors for calibration, and a treatment unit are arranged in a housing, and the load cell is calibrated by using a calibration weight, and the weight of a liquid sample is measured by the load cell, and the treatment unit determines the volume corresponding to the weight of the liquid sample based on sensor values such as a temperature, a pressure or a humidity of the air.
