METHOD FOR PRODUCING ADHESIVE TAPE OR SHEET

A mixture is obtained by uniformly mixing a tackifier resin and a specific terminally silylated polymer which contains a hydrolyzable silyl group at an end, while having a urethane bond and/or a urea bond in the main chain or a side chain.  A fluorine-containing compound selected from the group consisting of boron trifluoride and/or complexes thereof, fluorinating agents and alkali metal salts of fluorine-containing inorganic acids is added into the mixture and the resulting is stirred, thereby obtaining an adhesive precursor which is uniformly mixed as a whole.  The adhesive precursor is applied over the surface of a tape base or sheet base.  Then, the terminally silylated polymer in the adhesive precursor is cured, thereby forming the adhesive precursor into an adhesive layer having a three-dimensional network structure.  By the above-described procedure, there is obtained an adhesive tape or sheet.
