PURPOSE: A resin composition for cathodic electrodeposition coating is provided to ensure excellent water dispersion stability and inside penetrability, excellent antibacterial property, film flexibility, corrosion resistance and edge corrosion resistance. CONSTITUTION: A resin composition for cathodic electrodeposition coating comprises (a) a base resin containing a reaction product of a polysulfide compound and an epoxy compound and a reaction product of an amine compound and an epoxy compound; (b) a hardener resin containing a reaction product of blocked polyisocyanate with a modified polyol compound derived from a phenolic compound, aliphatic or aromatic amine compound, and formaline pseudo-Mannich reaction product; (c) aromatic sulfonic acids; and (d) a rheology controller having a urethane functional group.
