PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hair deforming agent which gives the treated hair good shine and manageability, a second agent for hair deformation constituting the hair deforming agent, and a method for hair deformation which gives the treated hair good shine and manageability. SOLUTION: The second agent for hair deformation includes at least a tetraester of pentaerythritol and a fatty acid and an oxidant. The hair deforming agent is composed of a first agent for hair deformation at least containing a reductant and the second agent for hair deformation. Preferably, the first agent for hair deformation further contain a solid wax or hydrocarbon at room temperature and an amino acid.
