The invention relates to an extractor hood (100; 100'; 100'') comprising a housing that encloses at least one suction chamber of the extractor hood (100; 100'; 100''), wherein at least one fan (82) for producing a negative pressure in the suction chamber is arranged in the housing. The aim of the invention is to refine the extractor hood in such a manner that the housing of said extractor hood is as compact as possible. In order to achieve said aim, it is proposed that the housing comprises a quadrant-shaped profile, said profile comprising two radial surfaces (10, 20), which essentially extend straight from a center of the circle (M) of the quadrant-shaped profile, namely a first radial surface (10) and a second radial surface (20) which is arranged essentially at a right angle to the first radial surface (10), as well as a front surface (30) which is rounded according to the shape of a quadrant and interconnects the ends (12, 22) facing away from the center of the circle (M) of the respective radial surfaces (10, 20). |
