<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an occupant protecting device for an automobile to be favorably used in a vehicle whereon a pre-clash safety system is mounted, capable of reducing the damage of an occupant in a situation a collision is anticipated. <P>SOLUTION: The protecting device includes a collision presuming means 15 mounted on the vehicle for presuming a collision of the vehicle, and a muscle stimulating means 14 to contract muscles of the occupant by stimulating the muscles before the collision when the collision is presumed by the collision presuming means 15. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT</p> |
