<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a machine tool capable of preventing the leakage of coolant from a bed, and preventing the deposition of chips while an assembly work is simple. <P>SOLUTION: A vertical piece 18 is provided on a coolant protector 16 arranged on a bed 4 of a machine tool in parallel to a side wall 14 of the bed 4. A machine body cover 12 is arranged over the bed 14, and the hanging piece 24 of a folded part 22 formed on the machine body cover 12 is made opposite to the vertical piece 18. The assembly work can be simply executed by holding a silicon sponge 21 with the vertical piece 18. The silicon sponge 21 of the vertical piece 18 is pressed against the hanging piece 24 in a liquid-tight manner to prevent the leakage of the coolant outside the bed 4. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT</p> |
