The suspension strut bearing (2) has an upper bearing disk (15), a lower bearing disk (16) and multiple rolling members (18) supported between the bearing disks. The lower bearing disk has a central opening (26) for execution of a piston rod (10) and the upper bearing disk has a circular bearing surface for the support of accomplished piston rod in a central site. The upper bearing disk is manufactured from a sheet metal. An independent claim is included for a shock strut, particularly for a motor vehicle.
