<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sealing structure of a rotary shaft capable of reinforcing sealing performance against magnetic powder. Ž<P>SOLUTION: A sealing device 20 is composed of a rotation side member 22 attached to an output shaft 13 and extended downward, a plurality of first magnets 24 provided on an inner peripheral face of the rotation side member 22, a static side member 25 attached to an upper face of a cover 16 and extended upward, a plurality of second magnets 27 provided on an outer peripheral face of the static side member 25 and being apart from end faces of a plurality of first magnets 24 by only distance L1 inward in the radial direction, respectively, and a plurality of third magnets 29 provided on an inner peripheral face of the static side member 25. Since a clearance L1 between the first magnet 24 and the second magnet 27 can be sealed by the iron powder 41 attracted onto two magnets 24, 27, it is possible to prevent new iron powder from intruding into the rotary shaft. Consequently, the sealing structure of the rotary shaft capable of reinforcing the sealing performance against magnetic powder can be constituted in this way. Ž<P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT Ž
