The method involves detecting spatial motions by measurement recorders e.g. 3-dimensional (3-D) gyroscope. The detected data are collected in an intermediate memory, and the collected data are transferred together with an identification (ID) code to a central server (7). The data are automatically analyzed based on preset parameters, and analysis results are transmitted to a user (9) e.g. mobile telephone. Movements of persons (3) e.g. sportsmen, interacting in same game are detected by the recorders that are synchronized before start of the game and before transferring the data to the server. An independent claim is also included for a system for detecting biometric data of person groups.
